Stories are the life of a people. For generations, traditional stories have carried knowledge, humor, history, values, relationships, and understandings of the world from one generation to the next. Here we share stories from Abenaki and other Native traditions of the Northeast Woodlands, along with reflections on the people, places, languages, and cultural teachings connected to them.
